Jazzie

This doll was produced on the theme: "blue ball gown" for the contest of Paris Fashion Doll Festival 2004.

This is a OOAK fashion doll. She is unique.

Clothes are not removable.

Stand, box, Certificate of authenticity.

Jazzie is entirely made in wire, safety pins  and beads blue.

Her body is covered by one sticking blue transparency, this same fabric is used for the breeches and the bra.

The loose skirt is a crinoline more or less rigid of wire and 8 lines of safety pins.

Each safety pin carries a column of varied beads matched according to lines'.

They all are in turquoise or white blue tone, they are beads  round  or with sticks, larger beads glass (3 to 8 mm) and pearls of Boheme.

Two spirals of blue wire cover the bust,  decorated by safety pin and beads.

A large collar made in same materials as the skirt decorates the top of the back and exceeds behind the head. It is retained on the arms by the blue wire rolled up until wrists.

Her face was entirely erased and repaints with the hand: her eyes are blue li

ke its make-up. Her lips carry a dark red.

The lashes are applied to the hand.

Initial doll model:  Color rave Giselle, Integrity Toys*.

Her hair of origin light blue with some wicks dew permed in larges loops and is hairing in two feather beds maintained by the wire and some beads.

This doll required 25 hours for its realization. All is made with the hand.

To make out Jazzie, I'm used approximately

* 10 meters of blue wire,

* 200 blue safety pins of 2 sizes,

* approximately 3450 beads distributed approximately in the following way:

** 1500 small beads round (opaque blue and transparent with the silver plated center),

** 1100 beads of small tubes (transparent blue) or half tubes (iridescent transparency),

** more than 850 blue, transparent, made iridescent or frosted glass beads, and of varied sizes and forms: beads with facets or of Boheme: rounds (3, 4, 5 or 6 mms diameter), pears; triangular pearls, tears, small boat, flowers...

Jazzie carries shoes of matched color.
